The following describes how our tournaments operate

  7. A series of weekly rounds (usually four)
  8. That begin and end every MONDAY NIGHT 8PM MT with every player receiving a FRESH START at the beginning of each round.
  9. The top scoring players (top 50%) advance to the next round.
The "current" is the highest numbered, most advanced round.
At the tournament's beginning, the 1st Round of a 4 Round tournament is the "current" Round. Week two, the 2nd Round would be the "current" Round.
      • Those who fail to advance
        • Because they failed to qualify by playing the MINIMUM number of hands (usually 60) or
        • Because they entered after others had already advanced or
        • failed to be in the top 50%
        • MAY STILL ADVANCE to the current round upon obtaining the:
          MEDIAN SCORE
of those who did advance from that particular round.
        • Winners are usually declared for both the weekly rounds AND the tournament

          TIES

        • Rule 1:
        • When there is a tie, the person with the lowest number of hands played will be the person awarded the higher position and FPP Points that go with the higher position.
        • Rule 2:
        • A tie score where the tied players also have the same number of hands, the scores for the positions will be added up and divided by the number of players involved with the tie.
        • Rule 3:
        • CMIYC (Catch Me If You Can) games, the challenging player must over-take the winner in order to win. A tie isn't adequate.
        • Rule 4:
        • Blackjack is not a team sport and any team play to achieve a tie will be grounds to void the scores of the players involved in the team play for that week in the game involved.

        • All specifics are located in the TOURNAMENT DESCRIPTION area located just below where you log in to choose which of the available tournaments you desire to play.
        • A number of tournaments will be available to you as we begin a new tournament EACH WEEK.
